Like in other countries and in the US, each Mexican state follows certain marriage procedures for their citizens and foreigners. Those who are planning to wed in this country should check these regulations to be aware and informed accordingly. A standard requirement for any foreigner marrying a Mexican is to provide identification documents. They will require a Spanish translated birth certificate duly acknowledged or verified by the foreigner’s own country. A valid passport should also be available.
If the US citizen had a previous marriage, documents of the divorce or death of spouse are also needed. It is another mandatory requirement of the Mexican state for the foreigner to undergo medical tests particularly for HIV, syphilis and others as well as blood tests and x-rays. The results have to be recently performed based on the prescribed period of the state. All fees should also be paid for accordingly to facilitate the process of the marriage license.

It’s never too early in the wedding planning process to start talking about your guest list. Before you start verbally inviting people, it’s a good idea to sit down with your fiancé and answer the following questions.
First, you and your fiancé should be on the same page. Have you always imagined of a small intimate wedding, or an enormous celebration?
It’s a good idea at this phase to start counting family and your closest friends. If you have 60 indispensable invites, you should probably forget about the charming chapel that only seats 50.
If you’re uncomfortable with ex-girlfriends or ex-boyfriends coming, children or business acquaintances, even if your fiancé is on friendly terms with them, speak up now.
The next phase is deciding how many invitations to give to each of your parents. Usually, the invitations are divided evenly between the two families. Nevertheless, if the bride and groom share the same group of friends, you may choose to give each of your parents a third of the invitations, reserving a third for yourselves.
Your wedding planner can be as involved as you want!

The wedding rings represent the constant love: a circle that symbolizes eternity. It is an appropriate symbol for the true significance of marriage.
In the symbolic language of jewels, a sapphire in a wedding ring means marital happiness.
A pearl engagement ring is said to be bad luck because its shape echoes that of a tear.
The coils curving into a circle represented eternity.
Aquamarine symbolizes marital harmony and a happy marriage.
