I would love to share with you the great experience of planning the Wedding for Maria and Ethan. I first met them a year ago, when they were selected an intimate ceremony at the Resort. They were looking for a place with a Mexican flare, close to the sea and, friendly atmosphere.
After a year of planning and having several correspondence and phone conversations, Maria and Ethan’s wedding was turning into a unique event fulfilled with their own style. Maria put her flair in all the details. She decided to use orange and blue marine as her main colors and include some surf and ocean details to the wedding. As incredible as it sounds, Maria and Ethan brought their surf boards along with all the luggage, boxes and wedding gown! They are very attached to all what has to do with the ocean and surfing and I think they had a ceremony just as they had dreamed: with the ocean and the “Land´s End” as the backdrop, the sound of the waves and their feet on the sand.
February 25th was the date! Maria decided to do a mid-day ceremony and guests were ready at their place as the Minister stood up by the huppah. It was 11 am when the musician started to play beautiful Spanish and classic melodies such as “A Mi Manera”, “O Sole Mio” and “Cascada” for the bridal party. For the processional she opted for “Canon in D” while the recessional melody was “Sevilla”, I just loved it!
Champagne was served to the entire family and friends as they passed on to the cocktail area while Maria and Ethan were posing for beach portraits.
Lovely navy blue and orange highlights were set up on the tables and submerged orchids were the elegant centerpieces. Tables were named with surfing beaches of the area such as “San Juanico”,”Las Palmas” and “Cerritos”. The sky was blue and clear and, the ocean looked pristine from the upper Terrace that they had reserved for the lunch.
In the afternoon, they enjoyed a Sunset Tour with family and friends onboard the “Tropicat” Catamaran, where they served cocktails and appetizers followed by a night party at one of the bars in the Cabo San Lucas Marina to continue the celebration!
Hasta luego and, congratulations Maria and Ethan!
